My name is Patrizia and I founded Welcome2italianlanguage in 2015 with the target of teaching my language to foreigners in a new and interactive way.
I graduated in Perugia (Modern Foreign Languages), with a BA in English Literature and Anthropology and my experience in Italy as a language tutor and journalist gave me the skills to interact with students and to find different tools to communicate efficiently also with the use of creative writing.
I moved to the UK in 2005, where I started teaching Italian for CDLCI (The Centre for Italian language and culture, at the Italian Consulate in Manchester) and at Leeds Beckett University, where I gained a PGCHE in Education. I am also a certified TEFL/TESOL tutor.
I worked for Bradford University, LOGIK Centre / Leeds University, various companies and in public schools around Yorkshire.
I also take part in workshops and international conferences as a speaker and I organize events and workshops about the Italian language and culture. Today I can proudly say that our online school has a team of mother tongue professionals with a strong passion about Italian language and ready to help you in your learning journey.
